The Research Team Report is an outside evaluation of an equity research department's work. The main criteria is the quality and accuracy of analysts' EPS estimates.

The report contains an executive summary and conclusion, a detailed presentation of the methodology, a historical ranking of the research team and the competition, an analysis of the quality of analysts' estimates stock-by-stock and relative to the consensus, a ranking of analysts who follow the same stocks, and an analysis of analysts' recommendations.

The Institutional_Investor_Service has similar content, but it concerns several research teams at once.
